From chocolate to confessions: Tallahassee fave rides highs, lows of 'Bachelorette' Week 3

Following their first week in Australia, Week 3 of ABC's "The Bachelorette" continues with Miami's Jenn Tran and the remaining 15 Jenn-tlemen – including a former Tallahassee resident – competing for her love in the vibrant city of Melbourne.

The night kicked off with Spencer making a memorable impression, earning him the first rose after their one-on-one helicopter date soaring across the city skylines. Back at the Marriott hotel, tensions were still high, as the guys continued to be perturbed by Devin dominating Jenn's time.

The Florida capital city's charming John Mitchell sumed his feelings up, "I was just really happy to see Jenn last night, after some B.S. last week."

John, a former Chiles High School football star was among the lucky few selected to go on the first group date with Jenn this week. Many, including Thomas and Sam M. were not thrilled that Devin would also be a part of the date. It's clear he rubbed everyone the wrong way.

"I would love to get a group date rose, so I'm going to put my best foot forward," Devin said, determined to make an impression.

Upon arriving to their date, the guys were stunned to be greeted by Jenn and four male strippers, who told them to get ready for their performance later that evening for the "Love Down Under" showcase. At the end, only one would be crowned the winner.

Sam M. couldn't help but hide his horror. "I'm mortified when I find out what we're doing," he said.

The evening show was judged by Jenn, along with Australia's beloved sister bachelorettes, Becky and Ellie. Each of the guys had the opportunity to take the stage and show the ladies what they were working with. Some took the performance very seriously, whipping out all of their best moves.

The local favorite John, who affectionately dubbed himself "Dr. Chocolate" for the appearance, embraced the challenge with confidence.

"Jenn is looking for us to put our guard down," John said. "This is a great way to show we're not scared, and we're not scared of love."

While many anticipated Devin would steal the show, it's Sam M. who took the spotlight. Instead of joining in the strip-tease, he used the opportunity to lay his heart on the line.

"Jenn I'm already falling in love with you," he said, leaving the audience in a stunned silence.

John said, "You could hear a pin-drop."

After the date, John made a sweet gesture, presenting Jenn with an assortment of chocolate, hoping to win her heart and secure the night's rose.

Meanwhile, Sam M. took the opportunity to talk to the other guys about his earlier confessions to Jenn. He approached the guys to clarify his intentions. In a surprising turn, Devin stepped up to support him, telling him he doesn't have to apologize or justify his feelings.

This interaction displayed the complexity of relationships in the house, balancing the guys' budding friendships with their shared goal of winning Jenn's heart.

In a moment of vulnerability, Devin opened up about insecurities regarding his body image. Jenn was moved by his honesty and impressed by his willingness to step outside his comfort zone. Ultimately, he was rewarded with the rose, following the date and solidifying his spot for the upcoming week.

This episode's final date tested the daring nature of the remaining four gentlemen, who revved up their engines on a racetrack. Stakes were high, as the man with the fastest lap time would earn extra one-on-one time with Jenn.

Entering the final rose ceremony of the episode, 12 of the guys were on the edge of their seats waiting to see if their efforts secured them a spot for the weeks to come.

"It was a pretty enjoyable week," John told the group. "So let's just cap it off with good vibes, man."

Aaron made the personal decision to leave the competition in pursuit of his dreams, but before he departed he dropped a bombshell on Jenn. He warned her, while there are some good guys, there also a few who are there for the wrong reasons.

Jenn, in a shimmering silver dress and a white fur shawl, took his warning seriously. She commanded the room with her presence and addressed the men, urging them to reflect on their true intentions and make an honest choice about whether to stay or leave.

Before giving out the week's roses, Jenn took the time to get inside her suitors' minds and try to figure out who Aaron could have been talking about. The remaining guys were shocked and confused, pointing the blame at each other for the high tensions.

"Walking into the rose ceremony feels heavy," John said. "Who knows what can happen?"

Thankfully, John was presented with the second rose of the evening, along with eight other guys who will remain in the competition with the three who received roses earlier.

While they are safe this go-round, the remaining men will be on edge in the weeks to come as a result of the night's revelations.

Viewers can watch “The Bachelorette” at 8 p.m. on Mondays on ABC.
