Playing as FSU in College Football 25 is great unless you're on Xbox Series S. Here's why

Some Florida State football fans aren't getting the full experience playing College Football 25 .

The highly popular college football video game received an 8 GB update Tuesday. EA Sports laid out some of its upcoming patches in a Monday post in its Answers HQ page . Not all of what was listed will have been included on Tuesday's update, but the Orlando-based video game company is working on making its highly popular game run more smoothly.

Among the issues was FSU football's War Chant, which users have reported isn't audible on the Xbox Series S. Here's how it looks and sounds on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, complete with Osceola, Renegade and the Tomahawk Chop :

Players on the Xbox Series S, a smaller, digital-only version of the current-gen game console by Microsoft, have been reporting the sounds of the FSU Marching Chiefs and the fans' chant aren't coming through.

EA Sports said it is working on a patch to fix the auditory issue, as well as a similar issue affected Tennessee's "Rocky Top."

Here's a look at some of what EA announced it would address in updates to College Football 25:

• Florida State War Chant and Tennessee "Rocky Top" songs can't be heard on Xbox Series S.
• Incorrect commentary the first game of the season of Dynasty mode at Utah.
• Incorrect logos for Stanford, UMass, Western Michigan, Jacksonville State, FIU, New Mexico, SEC, Conference USA and the Sun Belt.
• Super Sim leading to an inordinate amount of upsets by FCS teams in Dynasty mode.
• Players unable to load a previously established online dynasty.
• Adding teams to Pac-12 in Dynasty mode doesn't generate a new conference schedule.
• Some players' jersey numbers and/or overall rating changing when editing their equipment in Dynasty.
• With Team Builder , cleats default to Adidas regardless of selected brand apparel in Play Now.

Is College Football 25 available on PC? What about Xbox and PS5?

College Football 25 is available only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Is College Football 25 crossplay for Dynasty?

College Football 25 players will enable crossplay, so PlayStation 5 users will be able to take on those with an Xbox Series X|S. But cross-platform play is only available in College Football Playoff, Ultimate Team and Play A Friend modes.

College Football 25 price: How much does the game cost?

The standard version of the game is $69.99. The deluxe edition costs $99.99, and the MVP bundle, which includes Madden NFL 25, costs $149.99.
