Dog Et Al new location in Bradfordville 'soft launches' Thursday, grand opening to follow

The long-awaited opening of the new Dog Et Al has arrived, with a "soft launch" of its north side location on Thursday, and a grand opening next Thursday.

Tallahassee's landmark comfort food joint made the announcement on its Instagram page on Tuesday.

The soft launch is 5-9 p.m. and the Aug. 8 grand opening is 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. "Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you soon!" the post said.

Leon County Commissioner Brian Welch boosted the news on his own social media.

"Let’s welcome them to Bradfordville with open arms and lots of patience as they get squared away," he wrote. "Perfect timing for the Chiles back to school lunch crowds! Yay!"

Dog Et Al is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. The new location is in the Bannerman Crossing shopping center, 3437 Bannerman Road .

The homegrown eatery has ambitious expansion plans, including a total of five locations in Tallahassee, according to previous reporting.
