Easter is Sunday, March 31, and there are so many fun ways to celebrate around Tampa Bay! One of our favorite events, Tampa’s Downtown Eggsploration, is back for another year and will take over Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park on Saturday, March 30 from 9 am-1 pm.

We’ve got the details on what to expect and what to know before you go to this family-friendly event. Keep checking back while more details and announcements are released!

What activities will be at Eggsploration?

Eggsploration is downtown Tampa’s largest egg hunt! There will be thousands of eggs to find, starting at 9 am. Groups will be broken up by age so that everyone has a fun and fair chance to hunt for eggs. Once you collect a combination of eggs, you can redeem them for a prize!

There will also be various games and children’s activities throughout the day, including a bag decorating station! Local food trucks will also be on hand such as Planet Smoothie, Bean Wandering Coffee, and more.

Create your own Easter egg bags!

Of course, what would an Easter event be without a visit from the Easter Bunny himself? He’ll be there and will be making appearances for meet and greets and photo ops!

    Know before you go.

You must register for the egg hunt and obtain an age card before hunting for any eggs. Registration will open at 9 am and will close at noon. Signage will point you to the registration tent for the event.

All participants are encouraged to bring their own basket to hunt for eggs. There will also be a bag decorating station (while supplies last).
