Where to Enjoy Encanto at Walt Disney World: 4 Spots for Magical Characters and Entertainment

    By Meghan Roth,

Welcome to the family Madrigal. I know it sounds a bit fantastical, but it’s true – you can meet characters from Disney’s hit animated film Encanto at multiple places in Walt Disney World Resort. I think it’s time for a grandkid roundup, sort of – here are four different spots to celebrate with Encanto characters like Mirabel and Bruno, and more.

There’s even one spot where you won’t need a theme park ticket! And a massive, immersive land on the way!

    ¡Celebración Encanto! at EPCOT

A special treat just for the summer, ¡Celebración Encanto! runs several times throughout the day from now through September 6 , 2024 . The show invites guests to sing along to their favorite “Encanto” songs with characters like Mirabel and Bruno.

This lively show takes place at the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza at EPCOT . There is not a lot of shade in the viewing area, but it’s near Journey of Water Inspired by Moana . A great way to cool off!

There are opportunities for kids to participate, and there are fun trivia questions in between each song.

This show is for a limited time, June 10 through September 6, 2024. It reminds me of when Magic Kingdom had a show celebrating The Princess and the Frog for a few months, and now we have Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to celebrate!

    Meet Mirabel at Magic Kingdom

Near the iconic Cinderella Castle and close to the Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland is the shady and dreamy Fairy Tale Garden. It is here that you’ll find Mirabel surrounded by whimsical décor inspired by La Familia Madrigal!

Check the MyDisneyExperience app for greeting times and get there early! Mirabel is quite popular these days. And check out where to meet Mickey and other characters throughout Walt Disney World.

Tropical Americas Land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom (Coming Soon)

New experiences inspired by Encanto – the Academy Award winning Walt Disney Animation Studios film – and the fan-favorite adventurer Indiana Jones are being considered for the reimagined land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

These new experiences will take over for Dinoland U.S.A.

Encanto at Walt Disney World – No Ticket Needed!

There’s only one way to experience the magical world of Encanto without a theme park ticket. At Disney’s Grand Floridian, you can have breakfast or dinner at 1900 Park Fare .

We love this character dining experience. It’s a beautiful venue, the food is delicious, and some of our favorite Disney characters are there to meet and greet during your meal.

Rub elbows with Tiana, Aladdin, Cinderella, and Mirabel. It’s such a special experience and a must-do for any Encanto fans.

One of the best things about Walt Disney World is it is always evolving. There are new rides and shows opening this summer, with more on the horizon. Maybe more magical adventures with the family Madrigal await!
