Deputies investigate suspected murder-suicide outside Tampa hospital

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was investigating a suspected murder-suicide outside a Tampa hospital on Wednesday.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., dispatchers received a call about two bodies in a parking lot at HCA Florida West Tampa Hospital, 6001 Webb Road, according to a news release from the agency. Deputies found a woman with multiple gunshot wounds and a man with an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The sheriff’s office has not released their names.
