Ruskin woman faces manslaughter charge after shooting husband, records show

Hillsborough deputies arrested a Ruskin woman Saturday after she fatally shot her husband at their home, court records show.

Kim Darlene Patterson, 65, was booked into jail on a charge of manslaughter with a weapon, records show.

An arrest affidavit was not immediately available Tuesday, but a motion for pretrial detention filed by the Hillsborough State Attorney’s Office to keep Patterson in jail until her case is resolved includes some details of the investigation.

Patterson called 911 about 10:15 p.m.
