Hillsborough inmate dies after complaining of stomach pain at jail, deputies say

A man who complained of stomach pain last week while being held at a Hillsborough County jail died Tuesday at a Tampa hospital, deputies said.

Jack Daniel Knox Sr., 37, of Tampa told staff at the Falkenburg Road Jail on Aug. 28 that he was having stomach pains, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.
