Pedestrian killed in Largo hit-and-run crash

Largo police were investigating a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian Wednesday.

Police responded about 9 p.m. to 2650 Roosevelt Blvd., near U.S. 19, after the driver of a vehicle fatally struck a pedestrian who was trying to cross the road, according to a Largo Police Department news release. The driver did not stop after the crash and investigators had little information about the vehicle, police said.

Shortly after the initial crash, the driver of a car heading west on Roosevelt Boulevard struck the pedestrian who was in the road.
