Mathew Knowles is headed to the University of South Florida’s Tampa campus to give some “Daddy Lessons.”

Knowles, the father and former manager of Beyoncé and Solange, will give a free talk at USF Tampa’s Muma College of Business on Monday morning as part of the school’s “Campus Conversation with a CEO” series.

Music magazine The Fader described Knowles’ relationship with Bey as “loving, but complicated.” He encouraged Beyoncé to join singing competitions as a young child, serving as her first manager when she joined the group Girl’s Tyme at 8 years old.

He stayed on as manager through Beyonce’s Destiny’s Child era and her solo career up until 2011, when she founded her own management company called Parkwood Entertainment.

Beyonce has touched on her relationship with her dad throughout her career, from 2003′s tribute song “Daddy” to her 2016 album “Lemonade,” which some think alludes to infidelity that factored into her parents’ divorce.

In Tampa, Knowles will talk about building Beyoncé’s brand and founding Music World Entertainment, a “global powerhouse with over 450 million records sold.” Other endeavors include work in film and television, publishing and talent management.

Didn’t he steal her money from her tour funds and that is why she fired him. Hope he doesn’t teach them to steal.
