    Rays get even in top of the 9th, then get walked off by Phillies

    PHILADELPHIA — For all the bad breaks that seemed to go against the Rays this season, they got a pretty big one in their favor Monday night.

    It just wasn’t quite enough.

    Three outs from a loss to the Phillies, pinch-hitter Brandon Lowe drove a ball to the centerfield wall that Philadelphia’s John Rojas leaped for, had in his glove and then dropped on the other side.

    That made it a homer by Lowe, who was batting for the first time since Thursday due to an inflamed right middle finger, and tied the score.

    But then the Phillies won it 2-1 in the bottom...
