    Rays have no fun as MLB-best Phillies complete 3-game sweep

    PHILADELPHIA — Cleveland probably never looked so good.

    Anything had to be better for the Rays than Philadelphia, where Wednesday’s 3-2 loss completed a three-game series sweep by the majors-best Phillies.

    That all three games were close had to only add to the frustration for the Rays in not being able to win any before continuing their rigorous road trip against the American League-co-leading Guardians.

    The loss dropped the Rays to 71-75 and potentially seven games behind the No.
