Chick-fil-A proposed for old Golden Corral near Largo Mall

LARGO — City officials have revealed plans for the old Golden Corral site near Largo Mall on Ulmerton Road, as well as a first business lease for the Horizon West Bay project.

Golden Corral, at 10050 Ulmerton Road, was a family-style buffet before the pandemic led to its demise in 2020.

Two years ago, representatives for the property owner told the City Commission they planned not to “redevelop the site, but more to reuse the site,” noting the property “is very well outfitted as built for restaurant use.”
