TAMPA — The Lightning will open training camp with two of their key bottom-six forwards unavailable due to injury.

Mikey Eyssimont has a lower-body injury that will prevent him from participating in practices, which start Thursday morning at the TGH IcePlex. General manager Julien BriseBois said the hope is that Eyssimont can return to practicing on a regular basis by the end of camp, with an eye toward a mid-October return.

Fourth-line center Luke Glendening has an undisclosed injury.
