    Ring that stole 30 vehicles from dealers broken up, Hillsborough deputies say

    A group of car thieves stole more than 30 vehicles from over 20 dealerships in about a dozen Florida counties since December, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office, which on Friday announced they had broken up the group by making several arrests.

    The stolen vehicles are worth nearly $2.5 million and include high-end models such as Charger Hellcat, Challenger Hellcat, Chevrolet Corvette, Chevrolet Camaro, Jeep TrackHawk and Dodge Ram TRX, sheriff’s officials said in a news release Friday.

    The car dealerships that were hit includes ones in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, and Polk counties.
