During Helene prep, the smallest Florida moments will break us

The total mental break? Oh, no, it won’t be triggered by the all-consuming dread of anticipating another hurricane. It won’t come directly from the days of stress and tension, the anxious wait for the glob of churning wind and rain to make landfall, the words “storm surge” or “sandbags” or “maximum sustained winds.”
