Before joining the Bucs, Tom Brady nearly became a Bear

Say this for fledgling broadcaster Tom Brady: He appears to be growing more comfortable — and candid — in his new role.

Case in point: Sunday’s Eagles-Bucs game at Raymond James Stadium, where Brady — in his fourth week of calling games for “NFL on Fox” — made a profession as staggering as one of his trademark spirals.

Before signing with the Bucs as a free agent in March 2020, he nearly signed with the Bears.
