With many residents still reeling from Hurricane Helene, the city of Tampa has launched two “pop-up permit centers” in the hope of simplifying repairing and rebuilding process.

For the next two weeks, construction services staff will be on hand from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Marjorie Park Marina, 97 Columbia Drive, and DeSoto Park, 2617 Corrine Street.

The city is monitoring demand and will decide whether to keep the pop-ups open on the weekends in the coming days.
