    All Florida school districts reopen after Helene, start setting makeup days

    The big story: As Florida works to recover from Hurricane Helene, educators and other officials want to ensure children whose families suffered losses do not also lose the continuity of their learning or their sense of community.

    That’s why they’re taking whatever steps they can to ensure that schools damaged by the storm reopen as soon as possible, whether in their own buildings or on other campuses.
