The American Athletic Conference has announced that Friday night’s game between USF and Memphis at Raymond James Stadium has been moved to Saturday afternoon due to the expected arrival of Hurricane Milton.

Kickoff at Raymond James Stadium is set for 3:30, though even that may be subject to change as conference and school officials assess the storm’s aftermath. Moving the game to Sunday also remains an option with the Bucs playing in New Orleans this weekend.

Broadcast details will be announced at a later time. Initially, the game was set for a 7 p.m. kickoff Friday on ESPN.

Tickets already purchased for the game will be valid for the new date. USF season ticket members will receive additional information soon, the school indicated in a Tuesday morning news release.

Bulls coach Alex Golesh is expected to address reporters virtually around noon on Tuesday.

Milton is expected to make landfall somewhere on Florida’s west coast as a Category 3 or 4 hurricane late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning. On Monday, Hillsborough County issued mandatory evacuation orders for Evacuation Zones A and B and for all those in mobile homes.

    This story will be updated.
