RALEIGH, N.C. — Friday offered a respite for Lightning players, the opportunity to get back into a game-day routine after they evacuated Tampa for North Carolina before Hurricane Milton.

“Hockey players are famous for their superstitions, so it was good to get that habit back and get ready for a game,” Lightning captain Victor Hedman said.

Spirits were high following a 4-1 win over the Hurricanes at the Lenovo Center.
