    Where to get a free meal in Tampa Bay after Hurricane Milton

    For Tampa Bay residents impacted by Hurricane Milton, state and local governments, as well as private charities, have banded together to offer free food and supplies. Here’s where you can get a meal and other resources on Sunday, Oct. 13.

    Pinellas

    The following Points of Distribution are distributing free pre-packaged meals and water to residents impacted by Hurricane Milton:

    • Dunedin: City Hall, 737 Louden Ave. Open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
    • Gulfport: 25th Ave. S. and Beach Ave. Open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.
    • Redington Shores: 18200 Gulf Blvd. Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
    • Treasure Island: Community Center, 1 Park Place
    • St. Pete Beach: Community Center, 701 Boca Ciega Drive. Open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.
    • St. Petersburg: Frank Pierce Recreation Center, 2000 Seventh St. S. Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.
    • St. Petersburg: Childs Park Recreation Center, 4301 13th Ave. S. Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.
    • St. Petersburg: Roberts Recreation Center, 1246 50th Ave. N. Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.

    In Pinellas, Operation BBQ Relief will be providing free meals at the Walmart at 10237 Bay Pines Blvd. in St. Petersburg from noon until supplies last. They will also be providing meals at the Glam Squad Bar, 5208 66th St. N in St. Petersburg, from 5 p.m. until supplies run out.

    The state’s Hope Bus, which hands out food, water and other supplies, will be stationed at Tangerine Plaza, 1794 22nd St. S in St. Petersburg, from noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.

    Hillsborough

    Hillsborough County, with help from the National Guard, has set up food distribution points at four locations. All four locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. or until supplies last, and close from noon to 1 p.m.

    The locations are:

    • Elev8 Fun, Citrus Park Mall, 7902 Citrus Park Town Center Mall, Tampa.
    • Hillsborough Community College Brandon, 10451 Nancy Watkins Drive, Tampa.
    • Walmart, 9205 Gibsonton Drive, Gibsonton.
    • 431 19th Ave. NE, Ruskin.

    On Sunday, Oct. 13, Feeding Tampa Bay will be passing out food at three locations in Hillsborough County from noon to 2 p.m. Those locations are:

    • Hillsborough Community College SouthShore, 551 24th St. NE, Ruskin.
    • Causeway Center, 3624 Causeway Blvd., Tampa.
    • Harvest Hope Park, 13704 N 20th St., Tampa.

    The City of Tampa has also opened distribution sites, which will hand out ready-to-eat meals, ice and water. The locations are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. throughout the week.

    • Gandy Boat Ramp, 5108 W Gandy Blvd., Tampa
    • Al Lopez Park, 4810 N Himes Ave., Tampa

    These two locations, opened by the city of Tampa, will hand out ready-to-eat meals and hygiene kits, and will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

    • Babe Zaharias Golf Course, 11412 N Forest Hills Drive, Tampa
    • Copeland Park, 11001 N 15th St., Tampa

    Certain Walmart locations in Tampa Bay are also providing items like free ice, food and water. The full list of which stores are participating and when is available here. On Sunday, Oct. 13, Operation BBQ Relief will be offering free meals at the Walmart at 6192 Gunn Highway location starting at noon until they run out of food.

    The state’s Hope Bus, which hands out food, water and other supplies, will also be stationed at Mission Hill Church, 10002 N 56th St. in Temple Terrace from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13.

    Pasco

    Pasco County has a resource center open to help with disaster recovery at the Hudson Regional Library, 8012 Library Road, Hudson. That location will have food, water and tarps available will supplies last, and is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.

    Operation BBQ Relief is providing free meals at the Walmart at 7631 Gall Blvd. in Zephyrhills. Food will be from noon until they run out.
