The two Florida Supreme Court justices up for a retention vote, explained

Florida voters will decide in November whether they want to keep two of Florida’s seven Supreme Court Justices on the bench.

Justices Renatha Francis and Meredith L. Sasso are up for retention votes. Both were nominated to the court by Gov. Ron DeSantis, who put Francis on the bench in 2022 and Sasso on the bench in 2023.
