    The savage Hurricane Milton winds that shredded the roof and caused other extensive damage to Tropicana Field changed the entire Rays world.

    The ongoing uncertainty surrounding Wander Franco’s legal status (and the $172 million remaining on his contract), the loss of their television deal and the acute need to improve their offense are no longer the primary problems they seemed a couple of weeks ago.

    Now, top team officials are working to address their most pressing issue: where the Rays will play to at least open the 2025 season.
