Orlando -born Turkish restaurant Bosphorous Turkish Cuisine is growing, with four locations currently operating in the Orlando market and more on the way elsewhere—including a new location headed to Tampa this summer.

To top off all this growth, the Turkish restaurant chain just signed a lease to open in St. Petersburg ’s EDGE Collective mixed-use development, according to recent coverage by Creative Loafing Tampa .

“While no exact opening date was given, Bosphorous will open on the ground floor in a large 5,000-square-foot space previously occupied by Furnish Me Vintage,” the coverage says. “The space, which is across the street from Hawkers, will share outdoor seating with the neighboring Moxy Hotel.”

The brand’s most popular dishes in the Orlando market are its Mixed Grill and its Lamb Shanks. These entrees are served alongside Cold Appetizers like the popular Lavas (hollow bread), Babaganoush, and Humus, along with Hot Appetizers like Pan-Fried Zucchini Patties, Fried Liver, and Falafel.

What Now reached out on Wednesday to Bosphorous owner Doved Sexter to inquire about plans for the St. Pete rollout. Sexter was not immediately available for comment.
