As I Love the Burg reported earlier this week, ground has been broken on the long-awaited St. Pete outpost of Wild Fork Foods , a Miami-based chain of meat and seafood markets. I Love the Burg first broke the news of a planned St. Pete location all the way back in 2021—and the project appears to be moving along.

“We’ve got the best variety of meat and seafood anywhere,” says the Our Story page on Wild Fork’s website . “Choose from over 700 products (including 450+ meat & seafood items!), from everyday grocery staples to rare finds like premium Wagyu and exotic meats that’ll inspire your inner chef. We carry cuts you won’t find anywhere else, for cooks of every kind.”

On the top of this, you can “Complete any meal with appetizers, sides, seasonings, fruits, veggies, breads and desserts that pair perfectly with our proteins.”

There are also a variety of ready-made available from Wild Fork. These include Beef Short Rib Ravioli, Chicken Tikka Masala, Fettuccine Alfredo, Beef Bourguignon, and much more.

“The St. Pete location,” adds the I Love the Burg coverage, “is part of a broader plan for the Florida=based brand to expand to states across the country and Canada.”

What Now reached out this week to Wild Fork Chief Operating Officer Ricardo Marotta to inquire about the St. Pete location’s opening timeline. Marotta was not immediately available for comment.
