A tattoo artist in Tampa Bay, Florida, has a fun style she does when it comes to pet tattoos, and now we all want one.

On June 17, 2024, TikTok user Challis Roberts (@chal.inks) shared a video to her platform showing off really cute tattoos she's given people of their pets. Take a look!

"Let me turn your pets into fun little tattoos," the text on the video reads as Challis puts on some sterile gloves on as if she were sitting down to tattoo.

Challis then shows off a bunch of her really cute pet tattoos, and they're really adorable. They're all line work, but surprisingly, they have so much personality in them.

Some tattoos just featured their pet, like a cute dog smiling with their tongue out. Another had two pets in a locket with their names under them.

One of the tattoos she shows is a portrait-style tattoo of a pet iguana posing for three different pictures. It's got the same line work but with pops of color.

Another person opted for a more elaborate pet tattoo with their cat and some sushi. It still has the same vibe as the smaller tattoos but with the same super black shading, incredible line work, and more pops of red.

Another fun, cute, and adorable tattoo Challis showed is on someone's inner forearm. Instead of featuring the full look at their pet or even just their face, this tattoo was of her cat's ears.

How Do You Know You're Ready for a Pet?

If you've not got a pet yet but you're finding yourself wishing you had, how do you know when it's the best or right time?

According to BeChewy , the first step to trying to figure out if you're really ready for a pet is to do some research and talk to people who have had a pet--even better if they have experience with the pet or breed that you're thinking about.

"Fortunately, there's no such thing as being over-prepared," the site shares.

The next few questions you should ask yourself are more practical, like ensuring you have enough time to give to a pet. You need to be really serious and honest with yourself because you don't want to make that commitment and realize that it is more work than you have time for.

"You’ll want to be honest with yourself and make sure that, even if you do have the time, you’re ready to commit to being a responsible pet parent," wrote someone else. "Sit down and take a look at your family, job, and other life commitments."

And a big portion of being a good pet parent is to ensure you're able to provide everything they need, financially too.

"From their dog food, to their dog toys, to their vet bills and any other unexpected costs or medications, dogs carry considerable expenses with them from puppyhood throughout their lives," BeChewy shares.

If you're able to check all the boxes, having a pet in your life brings so many benefits and makes life a lot more fun.
