Morgan Wallen played a sold-out concert in Tampa last night during his One Night At A Time tour. But he won’t be making it to his second show at Raymond James Stadium today.

The country singer said he woke up too sick to perform again this week. He also pushed back his Charlotte concert dates scheduled for July 18 and 19 at Bank of America Stadium.

“I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today,” Wallen posted on X at 3:43 p.m., hours before tonight’s concert was supposed to start. “I would not give you guys anywhere near 100% tonight and as a result, I need to move tonight’s Tampa show to Oct. 4 and next week’s Charlotte shows to Oct. 18 and 19.”

It’s not the first time Wallen has pushed back a concert after feeling ill. After he canceled an appearance at the University of Mississippi’s Vaught Hemingway Stadium in 2023, a security guard accused Wallen of being too drunk to sing. BEST Crowd Management, the guard’s employer, denied the claim in a statement that Wallen’s label reposted.

Some Tampa fans chose to look on the bright side.

“See ya Oct. 4,” posted X user @jarroyo30. “Weather will be so much nicer.”

    Others seemed skeptical.

“It’s okay to admit you’re just severely hungover,” replied one X user @TheDegenWeekly. “Tampas party scene is A+”
