Jelly Roll announces surprise Tampa show after Morgan Wallen cancels concert

Jelly Roll announced a surprise concert in Tampa tonight after country singer Morgan Wallen canceled his show at Raymond James Stadium.

“TAMPA! Dallas Bull tonight— doors open at 7pm. If you have a ticket to the show you get in for free,” Jelly Roll, whose legal name is Jason Bradley DeFord, wrote on X.

Jelly Roll was set to open for Wallen before the “Last Night” singer canceled the show hours before gates were set to open, saying he woke up too sick to perform. The concert was moved to Oct. 4.

Wallen also pushed back his Charlotte concert dates scheduled for July 18 and 19 at Bank of America Stadium. Those shows were moved to Oct. 18 and 19.

In a post on X earlier today, Jelly Roll said he was “working hard to put together something for y’all somewhere tonight.”

The concert at the Dallas Bull, 3322 U.S. 301 in Tampa, starts at 8 p.m. The show is first come, first served for those who purchased tickets to the Wallen concert. In a post on Facebook, the venue said guests must be 18 and older.
