Jake Paul may have to wait until November to fight Mike Tyson, but “The Problem Child” is still eager to compete on Saturday, July 20. The YouTuber faces MMA and bare-knuckle fighter Mike Perry in Tampa, Fla. The fight airs worldwide on DAZN PPV.

Paul (9-1) started his boxing career with an amateur win against Deji in 2018. He has impressed at the pro level, winning six fights via knockout. Five of his wins have come against former MMA fighters. He lost against Tommy Fury , a legitimate boxer, in 2023 and has since beaten Nate Diaz and two boxers (Andre August and Ryan Bourland).

The July 20 date was supposed to be for Paul vs. Tyson, but the latter suffered an ulcer flare-up .

Perry was 14-8 in MMA, his last fight in 2021 with the UFC, before transitioning to bare-knuckle boxing. The "King of Violence” found a home in the sport, going 5-0 with Bare Knuckle FC with three knockout wins.  It is Perry’s second pro boxing fight and first since 2015.

A veteran and wild card, Perry believes he will halt Paul’s momentum while gaining worldwide attention.

"If he's putting pressure on me to try and get me out of there, I'll get him out of there quicker," Perry told TMZ . "When it comes to adrenaline, and that July 20th night, I'm gonna be a problem for anyone on this planet."

On the undercard, a trailblazer prepares for an anticipated rematch by defending her belts, and young prospects look to showcase their skills.

Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry undercard

Here’s a breakdown of all the action on the Paul vs. Perry card.

    Amanda Serrano vs. Stevie Morgan

    • Division/Weight : Featherweight
    • Serrano record : 46-2-1
    • McComb record : 14-1
    • Belts at stake : IBF, WBO, WBA and Ring featherweight titles

The co-feature will see Amanda Serrano defend the IBF, WBO, WBA and Ring featherweight titles against Stevie Morgan .

A seven-division world champion, Serrano (46-2-1) saw her 28-fight win streak snapped by Katie Taylor in a close contest, the 2022 Fight of the Year, for undisputed lightweight gold. She has won four straight since, beating Erika Cruz to become the undisputed featherweight champion. “The Real Deal” relinquished the WBC title because of the WBC’s stance on 12 three-minute rounds for women.

A win would give Serrano momentum heading into a Taylor in a rematch in November for undisputed super lightweight gold.

“I love going in there, throwing punches, and stealing the show,” Serrano told Sports Illustrated . “There are going to be great fights, especially Jake Paul vs. Mike Perry. But I’m going to steal the show.”

Morgan (14-1), nicknamed "Sledgehammer," has won all but one of her 14 victories via knockout. The Golden Gloves Champion has won six straight, all coming via the power punch. The expected underdog, Morgan and her team are ready to shock the world.

“She’s ready for war,” trainer Monyette Flowers told the Tampa Beacon . “So when that fight happens, there's going to be a piece of Serrano left in the ring, and a piece of Stevie will be left in that ring. You know, you walk in one way, you’re going to come out different. So I think it's a very dangerous fight for Serrano before the Katie Taylor fight, for sure.”

    Ashton Sylve vs. Lucas Bahdi

    • Division/Weight : Lightweight
    • Sylve record : 9-0
    • Bahdi record : 16-0
    • Belts at stake : N/A

He was supposed to fight Floyd Schofield before the Paul-Tyson fight got nixed.

Bahdi (16-0) has won three straight via knockout to go with his 14 wins via the power punch. “Prince” — a Canadian competing in the U.S. for the first time — is a top-ranked fighter by the IBF and WBA.
