TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Plant High School Chorus will have the opportunity of a lifetime this weekend when they perform with rock band, Foreigner, in Tampa.

Around 20 students will hop up on stage with the band on Saturday and sing “I Want To Know What Love Is.”

“This is such an amazing opportunity, we’ve gotten to do amazing things,” Plant High Chorus President Olivia Haynes said. “But this definitely tops the charts, so I think we’re just all really excited.“

This will not be the first time the local chorus has shared the stage with Foreigner.

They also performed a song with the band in March at the Florida Strawberry Festival.

“I don’t think I would’ve imagined we would be on stage with Foreigner,” Plant High Chorus member Emmerson Grabill said. “Getting to do this a second time has been really nice and I got to do this with my best friends.“
