“This is criminal behavior,” commenter Madison Harrigann wrote. “We need those plant based nachos.”

“How did a Cuban themed restaurant not survive there!” Iliana Barrientos said. “Such a d— good menu, my Lord and the entertainment?! What a loss for the area.”

Fortunately, the building will not remain empty for long as the Ciccio Restaurant Group announced that it would be opening its second Jay Luigi restaurant in the same location.

“Get ready to come together and share your favorite Italian dishes on this side of the bridge,” the restaurant said. “We can’t wait to join the South Tampa community.”
