With a win against Mike Perry, Jake Paul punched his ticket to a rescheduled date with ex-heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in November.
Whether Paul won five rounds or all six didn’t matter in the end. Paul dominated the BKFC star in nearly every aspect of the sport, landing several power shots and right hands for which Perry had little to no answer.
Perry barely stunned Paul, let alone have him on the ropes minus a few small clinch opportunities. Nevertheless, it’s the same narrative as nearly every fight: whether people doubt Paul or not, his presence in boxing is far from a gimmick.
The Tampa crowd quickly transitioned from cheering for Perry to giving Paul his flowers, adding to his quest to become a legitimate boxer.
In the co-main event, Amanda Serrano did short work against Stevie Morgan, needing under six minutes to earn her highly-anticipated rematch with Katie Taylor. Morgan was hardly competitive, getting hit with several lefts and rights before the referee stopped the action.
Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. won an underwhelming decision against Uriah Hall, out-boxing Hall 11 punches per round to just 10 for Hall, even though Hall edged Chavez Jr. 37-33 overall, per CompuBox.
Corey Marksman was dominant in his win against Tony Aguilar, winning a unanimous decision in their lightweight rematch and landing 115 punches in the win.
Lucas Bahdi railed down five rounds to knock out Ashton Sylve and pull off arguably the greatest comeback of 2024 in boxing.
Angel Barrientes outboxed Edwin Rodriguez, winning a six-round decision. Alexis Chaparro earned his second straight KO win and the second win of his professional career, dispatching Kevin Hill.
Closing out the preliminary portion, Shadisa Green won a decision against Natasha Spence, showing heart.

Round six: Paul cracked Perry for a third time, and it didn't take long for the ex-YouTuber to start celebrating, earning his 10th win and seventh KO. The possibilities now remain endless for Paul, but now earns his date with destiny: Mike Tyson. Arlington, Tex. November – it's STILL ON. Paul improves with each fight, almost to the point of unfairness with how much faster his power shots have gotten. It was effortless, and he didn't even break a sweat.

Round two: Less than 30 seconds in, Paul rocks Perry again, stumbling to his knees. Back on their feet, Perry keeps his hands down and Paul lands a right hand. Against the ropes, the referee separates the pair before Perry forgets that he's in a boxing match. A left hook from Perry, as the crowd shifts toward his support. The round ends with Perry swinging wildly.

Amanda Serrano clinches rematch with Katie Taylor with a two-round clinic against Stevie Morgan
Round two: More of the same for Serrano was too much for Morgan, forcing the referee to stop it while Morgan was still on her feet. Bring on Katie Taylor in the fall. It's Serrano's first TKO in nearly three years.

Lucas Bahdi lands stunning KO blow in comeback bid
11:24 ET: A right-hand, left-hook combination from out of nowhere sees Bahdi pull off one of the biggest comebacks in 2024 in all of boxing after losing every minute of the fight through five rounds. Round six was all Badhi after Sylve was in complete control. Sylve kept his hands down, costing himself the fight in the process.
11:03 p.m. ET: Ashton Sylve and Lucas Bahdi are through the first round. Sylve is using crisp hooks thus far with little to no weaknesses.
10:38 p.m. ET: The final seconds ticked away in an all-action eight-round affair between Aguilar and Marksman. Marksman won a close decision, with one judge scoring the fight a draw. Marksman landed the crisper strikes and said post-fight that he "did enough" to get the win.

10:27 p.m. ET: Ex-WWE star Hulk Hogan is in attendance. Aguilar and Marksman are in an entertaining fight with a minute left in the sixth. Marksman's volume is making the difference.
10:05 p.m. ET: A lightweight rematch between Tony Aguilar and Corey Marksman gets underway, the second fight on the pay-per-view broadcast.
9:50 p.m. ET: In Chavez Jr.'s 71st pro fight, he wins a six-round decision to a plethora of boos and mixed cheers from the 17,000-plus crowd in Tampa. Chavez Jr. says "he is a better fighter" than all of Jake Paul's opponents.
9:43 p.m. ET: Round six, the final three minutes, begins. Hall out-struck Chavez Jr. 13-9 in round five. Hall continues to stick and move, but Chavez Jr. is just letting Hall work. Hall lands a left hook to back Chavez Jr. up to end the fight as we go to the scorecards.
9:41 p.m. ET: Chavez Jr. begins to fade against the ropes, taking everything Hall throws at him. Hall utilized the same strategy in round four, essentially tiring out Chavez Jr.
9:38 p.m. ET: Hall likely makes it 2-2 through four, landing a nice mix of body shots and head strikes in a clinch, dirty boxing-like position.
