Hillary Clinton to stop in Tampa on book tour

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Former Secretary of State, U.S. Senator and First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton announced a stop in Tampa on her upcoming book tour.

Clinton will appear at the Straz Center on October 15 for a moderated discussion that includes “unvarnished exchanges on politics, democracy, the threats we face, as well as friendship, aging, marriage and how we can all work together to shape a future to be proud of,” according to the event description.

“I’m so excited to add 10 more cities to my Fall tour. I hope you can join me for wide-ranging conversations that go behind the scenes and include never-before told stories,” Clinton wrote in a statement. “We’ll discuss the state of our politics and creating the future we want for our children and grandchildren and, most of all, have some fun while we’re at it!”

Those wanting to attend can register on the event website to purchase presale tickets on July 30. Tickets go on sale to the public on August 2 at 10 a.m.
