Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin has played with an interesting assortment of starting quarterbacks since arriving in Tampa in 2017.

When asked to compare and contrast them during a recent interview with CBS Sports , he had interesting observations about Jameis Winston , Tom Brady, and Baker Mayfield.

Godwin described Brady's in-the-huddle demeanor as all business.  Brady almost sounded like a coach in the huddle, talking about coverage possibilities and what the receivers should expect if certain scenarios occurred. Godwin also said everyone wanted to be his absolute best to take advantage of the opportunity to play with the GOAT.

According to Godwin, Baker Mayfield embodies some of the qualities of his predecessors Jameis Winston and Tom Brady.  Whereas Winston was a fun personality apt to crack jokes in the huddle and Brady was very serious, Mayfield is a mix of both.  He can make jokes but is locked in, like Brady, when it is time to play.  Godwin also commented on Mayfield's fiery side, a quality that people either liked or hated since his Oklahoma playing days.

Godwin, 28, considers himself fortunate to have played with all three quarterbacks. Brady's leadership was instrumental in getting the Bucs and Godwin a Super Bowl ring, but many fans hope that Mayfield can also lead the team to similar success.  Gddwin is entering the final year of his three year $60 million contract so he could be one of the next players following Mike Evans, Antoine Winfield, Jr., Baker Mayfield, and Tristan Wirfs to get an extension.
