Ms. Lauryn Hill has quietly canceled her upcoming co-headlining tour with Fugees just days before it was set to begin.
The tour, which was also celebrating the 25th anniversary of her iconic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill , was scheduled to start on Friday, August 9th, in Tampa, Florida. On Tuesday, ticket-holders received notification that that the tour had been canceled and all of the dates were removed from Ticketmaster. Refunds will be issued at the point of purchase.
As of publication, no reason has been provided for the tour’s cancellation; neither Hill nor Fugees have publicly commented.
Hill previously called off a 2023 tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her iconic album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill due to “serious vocal strain.” Additionally, Fugees’ 2022 reunion tour was nixed due to the pandemic.
