Rockaway Beach woman arrested for meth trafficking
A Rockaway Beach woman is in the Taney County Jail after a multijurisdictional investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in the region. Rhonda Johnson, 56, of Rockaway Beach is facing Second Degree Trafficking Judge charges in Taney County in connection with transportation and distribution of drugs to multiple Missouri counties. If convicted on the charge in Taney County, she could face up to 15 years in prison.

TANEY COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) - A man in Taney County is behind bars after stabbing someone in the leg. According to the Taney County Sheriff’s Office, Rauley Cancel had gotten into a fight in a Branson, Mo. bar and stabbed a man in the leg. Cancel was placed in custody by deputies but escaped their patrol car. With the help of a Branson Police Department K-9, Cancel was tracked down and found.
