The man accused of murdering a Tangipahoa Parish woman, kidnapping her two daughters, and murdering one of the young girls is now charged with capital murder in Mississippi.

A grand jury handed up charges against William Callihan on Thursday. According to our partners at WWL-TV, Callihan was indicted on one count of capital murder, two counts of kidnapping, three counts of sexual battery, and one count of receiving stolen property.

Callihan's girlfriend and alleged accomplice, Victoria Cox, was also indicted on capital murder, kidnapping, and sexual battery in connection with the case.

Callihan is accused of murdering Callie Brunet on June 12 by stabbing her more than 30 times. Callihan allegedly kidnapped Brunet's daughters, murdering one of them, four-year-old Erin, before authorities caught him near Jackson, Mississippi. Brunet's six-year-old daughter was found alive inside the car Callihan was driving.

WWL-TV reports that court documents say that Callihan planned to keep the older sister alive so he could use her as a "sex slave." The documents also say that witnesses saw Callihan with two young girls at a McDonald's in McComb, Mississippi, on the same day he allegedly killed Callie Brunet.

Callihan also faces first-degree murder and other charges in Tangipahoa Parish and on the federal level. He faces the death penalty in all three jurisdictions.
