Softball: Livingston Beats Columbia, 10-1

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Sophie Rothfeld drove in three runs to lead Livingston to a 10-1 softball victory over Columbia on Wednesday.

Rothfeld went 3-for-4 to pace a 12-hit attack for the Lancers (14-5), who scored their first five runs in the second inning.

Winning pitcher Sophia Mount threw a two-hitter with 14 strikeouts and two walks in seven innings.

Olivia Mellucci had two hits and two RBI, and Allie Nankivell and Lilah Goldstein each had two hits and one RBI in the victory.
