HS Softball: Terranova Slams Cliffside Park, as Hasbrouck Heights Wins 10-0

HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, NJ – Guiliana Terranova went 3-for-4, including a grand slam and seven runs batted in, as Hasbrouck Heights defeated Cliffside Park, 10-0, in an independent girls softball game on Saturday at Hitchcock Field in Hasbrouck Heights.

Terranova’s grand slam made the score 4-0 in the third inning, as the Lady Aviators jumped out to a 6-0 lead.  She homered later in the fifth as the Aviators made it 8-0.

Anna Lisse Vasquez pitched a four-hit, complete game to pick up the win, striking out five and walking no one.

Kailen Peterson chipped in three hits for the Aviators, and Jaelyn Karwoski had two runs batted in for the Aviators, who pounded out 11 hits, drew five walks and stole 10 bases on the day.
