HS Tennis: Hasbrouck Heights Fall To Memorial (WNY) 5-0

WEST NEW YORK, NJ – Hasbrouck Heights ended their season on a slight down note, losing to Group 4 opponent Memorial an independent tennis match on Monday afternoon in West New York. The Aviators fall to 11-5 on the season, while Memorial improves to 10-6.

The match was a follow-up to Sunday’s matches in the Bergen County Invitational semi-finals for Ghongpa in First Singles, and First Doubles team of Deguzman and Baculio.

Deguzman and Baculio fell 6-3, 6-3 against Cresskill, while Ghongpa lost in his match 7-5, 6-2 to Jaden Cohen of Ramsey.

The team is now awaiting its assignment for the state playoffs, which start on Wednesday.
