Whippany Park Softball Beats Morristown in Monday's Game

MORRISTOWN, NJ - The Morristown softball team fell to Whippany Park on Monday 13-5.

Morristown struck first, scoring one run in the first but the Wild Cats added one in the second and then five runs in the third and sixth innings.

Alexandra Barrett had two RBI's, one hit while teammates Jenna Manahan, Ella Watson, Shelby Shay, Taylor Donnelly and Madeleine Stavisky crossed the plate.

Callie Volker and Jordan Ford were on the mound for the Colonials. The duo allowed 13 runs on 18 hits while striking out four.

Keira Swartz was on the mound for Whippany Park. She allowed five runs on five  hits while striking out eight.
