Himstreet Breaks 2011 Meet Record at Roxbury Invitational for Chatham Girls Track & Field; Nacinovich Runs 2nd in 100 and 200

SUCCASUNNA, NJ -- Chatham senior Caroline Himstreet didn't sweat the heat on Tuesday afternoon, setting a meet record in the 1600 with a time of 5:09.91 at the Roxbury Invitational track & field event. Himstreet broke the meet mark that had stood since 2011.

Chatham sophomore Sarah Nacinovich turned in two second-place finishes, running the 100-meter dash in 12.91 and the 200 in 25.88.

Cougar junior Lauren Tracey placed second in the 800 in a personal record time of 2:20.97 and Avery Bruzzo took 5th with a new personal record of 2:27.87. Georgia Young placed fourth for Chatham in the long jump at 14 feet, 10.50 inches.
