NJSIAA Softball Tournament; No. 12 Morristown Upsets No. 5 Fair Lawn to Advance in State Tournament

FAIR LAWN, NJ -  The No. 12 seed Morristown softball team defeated the No. 5 seed Fair Lawn in the 2024 NJSIAA State Tournament. The Colonials defeated Fair Lawn 1-0.

Callie Volker threw an amazing game allowing no runs on two hits while striking out 12. The lone Morristown run came from Ella Watson who scored on Shelby Shay's single.

Morristown will advance to face the winner of No. 4 Montclair and No. 13 Hackensack. The game will be played at Morristown Tuesday May 28.
