Teterboro Airport Will See Military Aircraft Activity for 2024 Fleet Week

TETERBORO, NJ - Residents around Teterboro Airport will see increased military air traffic activity in conjunction with Fleet Week in New York City.

Teterboro Airport will be hosting three U.S. Navy SH-60 Seahawk helicopters that will be taking part in the annual U.S. Navy Fleet Week events in the New York City metro area, according to an airport official. The aircraft arrived at Teterboro on Monday, May 20 and will be departing the airport one to two times daily from Monday, May 20 through Monday, May 27 ^th (Memorial Day.)

The helicopters are expected to use the typical departure and arrival patterns into and out of Teterboro. But they may utilize slightly different patterns as directed by Air Traffic Control.
