Millburn Board of Education Appoints Assistant Superintendent Dr. Kate Diskin as Acting Superintendent

MILLBURN, NJ -- The Board of Education appointed Assistant Superintendent Dr. Kate Diskin as Acting Superintendent during its May 21 meeting, effective immediately.

"I assure you that Dr. Diskin has my unwavering support and confidence. I am fully committed to facilitating a smooth transition. While I will still have the honor of presiding over the 2024 Graduation Ceremonies, my day-to-day responsibilities as Superintendent will now be in the capable hands of Dr. Diskin," said Superintendent Dr. Christine Burton. She added, "This will give the District the opportunity to start the new school year with a leadership team in place."

The Board of Education approved the firm Hazard, Young, Attea Associates to begin the search for a permanent Superintendent.
