WEST CALDWELL, NJ -- Teagan Quinn scored eight goals and had one assist to lead Caldwell to a 20-8 girls lacrosse victory over Rutherford in the opening round of the NJSIAA North Jersey, Group 1 tournament on Wednesday.

Abby Anemone had seven goals and two assists, and Morgan Manriquez finished with three goals and two assists for Caldwell (8-13).

Kaitlyn Mullen totaled two goals and two assists, Tatumn Latttimer had one goal and two assists, and Nicole Costigan contributed a goal and an assist.

Caldwell goalie Chelsea Rudden made eight saves.

Caldwell, the fifth seed, will play at fourth-seeded Westwood in the quarterfinals next Thursday.
