Passaic Valley Softball Team Triumphs in First Round of NJSIAA Tournament Against Voorhees

LITTLE FALLS, NJ - Passaic Valley's softball team soared to victory in the first round of the NJSIAA Tournament on Wednesday, defeating Voorhees with a 5-0 win.

The Lady Hornets took an early lead, scoring one run in the first inning and adding two more in the third. They sealed their victory with another two runs in the sixth inning, maintaining a solid lead throughout the game. Key players for Passaic Valley included Kacey DiPasquale, who scored two runs and had one hit, and Lily Allmendinger, who drove in three runs with a double.

Pitcher Mia Aquino pitched a complete game shutout, allowing only four hits and striking out nine batters.

With this win, Passaic Valley advances to the next round of the NJSIAA Tournament.
