City Phone Lines Are Out of Service in Olean

OLEAN, NY — All city phone lines are out of service because of hardware failure in the city's phone router.

Service will be restored sometime Wednesday after a replacement router arrives, Mayor William J. Aiello wrote in an email Tuesday.

Calls involving municipal business — other than police and fire matters — are being accepted at 716-790-9334 .

Individuals who need police or fire assistance should call the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office at 716-938-9281 .

Municipal offices also can be contacted by email. Email addresses are listed on the city website at www.cityofolean.org.
