    Morristown Mourns the Loss of Retired Police Officer Carl Cousin

    MORRISTOWN, NJ - Retired Morristown Police Officer Carl Cousin has passed away, announced Morristown PBA Local 43. Officer Cousin began his career with the Bureau of Police in 1980 and served for 27 years. After retiring, he returned as a Class II Special Police Officer, ultimately retiring again in 2022.

    "Officer Cousin’s commitment to the citizens of Morristown was exemplary, and his service will be remembered with deep respect and gratitude", wrote the Morristown PBA Local 43 in a Facebook post. "Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who had the honor of working alongside him".

    A wake will be held on Tuesday August 20 at the Calvary Baptist Church, 10 Martin Luther King Avenue in Morristown from 9am - 11am. A Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery on Martin Luther King Avenue.
